INSTALLATION OF A FIREPLACE IN A SITTING ROOM

Aïre, Genève 2005

This chimney, correctly classified as «furniture», is an option clients from one of the two villas we constructed, deliberately requested to acquire.

At the articulaton of all the «day zones», this chimney, a kind of iron monolith, suggests a hearth with double access from both the sitting as well as the dining rooms.

From the sitting room, at the lower level of the residence, the monolith integrates all television, hi-fi and home cinema installation.

From the dining room, the telephone is situated at the geometric centre of the villa. For all of the reasons above, this element can be considered furniture.
